Remembering Sir Peter Tapsell

I am saddened to hear about the death of my predecessor and former Father of the House of Commons, Sir Peter Tapsell.

Sir Peter was a great Parliamentarian and a gentleman, whose public service spanned more than five decades.

RAF100 Flypast and Static Display

This year we celebrate 100 years of the RAF, which has a special connection to my constituency. 

I visited the static display at Horse Guard Parade which featured aircraft through the ages, including an original Spitfire Mk16 and a full-scale replica Typhoon.
