The Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill passed through the UK House of Commons yesterday, delivering on our promises to take measures to make our society safer and to crack down on crime.

Tackling Crime

I will back our police by supporting measures to equip our officers with the powers and tools they need to keep themselves and all of us safe. I will lobby for more support  to tackle rural crime and press for measures to tackle violence against women and girls.

Local MP Sanctioned by Russia for Standing with Ukraine

Today, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has imposed sanctions on 287 members of the House of Commons, including the local MP for Louth & Horncastle, Victoria Atkins MP, in retaliation for UK measures over the Ukraine invasion.
