Pharmacies launch codeword scheme to offer ‘lifeline’ to domestic abuse victims

Yesterday, I visited Boots to launch our new 'Ask for Ani' scheme.

Victims of domestic abuse will be able to access support at Boots and 257 independent pharmacies across the UK. This is about providing another avenue of support to victims who can often find it difficult to seek help from their perpetrators.

For independent pharmacies that would like to join the scheme, there is an on-going sign-up process open to all pharmacies.
