The Colonnade and Pleasure Gardens have provided enjoyment for families living and visiting our coastline for generations. That’s why I was delighted to visit and see the plans that will breathe new life into the sites, securing their future for many years to come.

In the first Prime Minister’s Questions featuring the new Prime Minister, Louth & Horncastle’s Member of Parliament, Victoria Atkins, called for action to help local people who rely on heating oil and have faced steep price rises in recent months.

Louth is home to so many wonderful independent businesses who contribute to the charming character of our town. I popped in to see a number of our fantastic shop owners at the weekend to discuss how to best support them as we recover from the pandemic and #ShopLocal.

I had a wonderful visit to the Playhouse Cinema in Louth recently where I met manager James Pickworth to discuss their recent reopening and preparations for the cinema’s 100th birthday later this year!
