I have been promoting our local economy in our area, from meeting and speaking to local business owners, to hosting an online jobs and careers fair, and calling on further support for hospitality businesses in the constituency of Louth & Horncastle.



Victoria Atkins MP welcomes Colonnade redevelopment progress

The Colonnade and Pleasure Gardens have provided enjoyment for families living and visiting our coastline for generations. That’s why I was delighted to visit and see the plans that will breathe new life into the sites, securing their future for many years to come.


In the first Prime Minister’s Questions featuring the new Prime Minister, Louth & Horncastle’s Member of Parliament, Victoria Atkins, called for action to help local people who rely on heating oil and have faced steep price rises in recent months. 

Meeting with Destination Lincolnshire

I was pleased to meet with Destination Lincolnshire who are undertaking an excellent programme of work to promote Lincolnshire as the holiday destination of choice.

Discussing our Recovery from the Pandemic with Shop Owners in Louth

Louth is home to so many wonderful independent businesses who contribute to the charming character of our town. I popped in to see a number of our fantastic shop owners at the weekend to discuss how to best support them as we recover from the pandemic and #ShopLocal.

I had a wonderful visit to the Playhouse Cinema in Louth recently where I met manager James Pickworth to discuss their recent reopening and preparations for the cinema’s 100th birthday later this year!
