Yesterday, Victoria was thrilled to be invited to visit Giraffe Distillery, the home of Pin Gin in Louth. First launched in 2017, Pin Gin made history as the first gin to be distilled in Lincolnshire in modern times. Their brand captures the essence of Lincolnshire's rich agricultural landscape and resonates with gin enthusiasts across the UK and have a admirable commitment to quality and locally sourced ingredients for their products.
Victoria had a tour around their wonderful distillery, getting a behind-the-scenes to look at the care and creativity that go into making our fantastic local spirits.
Victoria also had a sit-down discussion about the pressures facing small and medium-sized distillers up and down the country including, alcohol duty, business rates and employer national insurance contributions – all raised under this Labour Government.
Victoria will continue to champion Lincolnshire’s food and drink producers in Westminster as we approach the Budget!
