NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board have provided the below update on Spilsby Surgery. I will remain in contact with them about getting access to services back to normal as soon as possible and will continue to share any updates:

"NHS Lincolnshire ICB and Lincolnshire and District Medical Services (LADMS) are making positive progress to ensure patients receive safe, high-quality care.

LADMS have access to the surgery’s clinical systems and are prioritising repeat prescriptions, blood test results, and death certificates.

Please do not contact the LADMS office directly.

Whilst the LAMDS team set up their systems and processes, we would ask patients to follow the guidance below.

The ICB and LADMS are fully committed to ensure Spilsby Surgery patients have access to full GP services as soon as possible.

Spilsby Surgery premises:

The current surgery premises is still temporarily closed.

Please do not attend the surgery.

Appointments:

If you already have an appointment booked, this will be rescheduled.

Please wait to be contacted with updated details.

If you have an urgent health need:

Call NHS 111 or visit www.111.nhs.uk for advice.

Local pharmacies can also help with minor illnesses but may experience extra pressure. Please be patient and give plenty of notice where possible.

Dial 999 in an emergency.

Please do not contact NHS 111 if you have a general query about the surgery.

Repeat prescriptions:

At the moment, we are unable to dispense any medication from the dispensary at Spilsby Surgery. We are working hard to establish local access to medications.

The Coop Pharmacy in Spilsby are currently dealing with a high number of emergency medication requests. For now, please only request repeat medication from NHS 111 if you urgently need it.

If you have sufficient medication, please be patient. This will allow us to prioritise patients who need emergency medication.

Blood tests:

If you due to have a blood test, please wait to be contacted.

Do not attend Skegness Community Diagnostic Centre or Pilgrim Hospital Boston unless you have already been previously given a referral form.

Flu clinics:

The LADMS team are working hard to ensure the flu clinics at the surgery on Saturday 4th October 2025 can still go ahead. Please attend your appointment as planned unless told otherwise.

Registering with another practice:

Please be reassured that patients remain registered with Spilsby Surgery and there is no further action you need to take.

We would advise you not to register at an alternative surgery at this time.

Further information:

If you would like to speak to someone, please contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 0300 123 9553 or email [email protected].

We will also be arranging patient drop-in sessions to discuss individual patient issues.

Thank you for your patience.

We understand this may feel unsettling, but please be assured your care will continue, your records are secure, and you will be kept fully informed about next steps."
