Spilsby Surgery will reopon from Monday. Full update from NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board below.

I will be pushing to see what can be done to try and deal with the backlog, but hopefully this will provide certainty and relief for patients:

"We are pleased to announce that the surgery and dispensary will reopen to patients on Monday 6 October 2025 from 9.00am. Please only contact the surgery if you need urgent assistance.

Lincolnshire and District Medical Services (LADMS) will be prioritising urgent appointments, medications, and tests results. Please be aware, we anticipate there will be high demand.

The Co-op Pharmacy staff in Spilsby are working very hard to clear a significant backlog, with significant progress in the past 24 hours, while maintaining safe and efficient dispensing. ICB staff have been supporting patients and staff at the Co-op Pharmacy to help speed up prescription access.

ICB staff also ran a drop-in session at Franklin Hall today to ensure as many people as possible had access to the latest information which can be found here Important information for patients registered with Spilsby Surgery - Lincolnshire ICB. Our team continues to prioritise urgent patient enquiries.

We will continue to share communications updates via our local partners, councillors, websites, and social media, included in which is a request to people to only contact NHS 111 for urgent repeat medication, and to use other local pharmacies if possible. People who have enough medication can help us by waiting, since this will help us support those in greatest need.

We would like to thank everyone for their continued patience and kindness towards pharmacy and NHS staff."
