I have heard back from the Post Office about the Spilsby Branch.
They have said:
“The branch closed at short notice due to operational reasons. We understand how disruptive and concerning this unexpected closure may be for customers who rely on the branch, and we are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused.
At this time, we unfortunately do not have any further information to share, and the branch remains closed. Please be assured that we are working to obtain clarity as quickly as possible, and we will update the community and local stakeholders as soon as new details become available. Official notification will be provided as soon as we have information and the information will also be posted on Post Office - Citizen Space.
In the meantime, customers can continue to access Post Office services at alternative branches. The nearest available branch is Partney Post Office (Partney Filling Station, Partney, Spilsby, Lincolnshire), located approximately 1.6 miles away.”
I am continuing to make the case for the need to get a service back in the town as a matter of urgency and will share any further updates.
