Victoria Atkins, Member of Parliament for Louth and Horncastle and Minister for Women recently met with the Austrian Minister for Women, Julia Bogner-Strauss.
Reflecting on the success of the visit, Victoria said, ''Ms Bogner-Strauss and I had a wonderful time exchanging views and chatting about the importance of our respective positions in 21st century politics. We had a lively and productive discussion about a range of incredibly important issues, including the gender pay gap, violence against women and girls and domestic abuse.''
Ms Atkins and Ms Bogner-Strauss were joined by a representative from the UK Government and Equalities office.
