Do you want a bypass around Horncastle?

Traffic jams at the Bull Ring Bottleneck of the A158 and A153 have a real impact on Horncastle residents and those travelling to the coast, particularly over the summer.

Last year, I led a delegation of local decision-makers to meet the Minister for Transport, the Rt Hon John Hayes CBE MP, to discuss the traffic issues and how they may be eased. Since putting the Bull Ring Bottleneck firmly in the Minister’s mind, I welcome the news that local roads are now set to benefit from a share in up to a billion pounds of national funding for improvements such as bypasses.

I want to hear from you about how you are affected by the traffic jams in Horncastle and your views on options to ease the problem. Please share your views with me via email: [email protected].
