Spilsby Show's Successful Shires!

This year's fantastic Spilsby Show saw a flypast from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (Official) Lancaster Bomber, a procession led by the The Royal British Legion and, of course, the annual heavy horse show.

Yesterday I met the lovely Prudy in her time off from training for The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association (UK)!

90% of people with sight loss frequently have problems with cars parked on pavements and I have been contacted about this occurring on roads in Louth & Horncastle.

New Play Park for Woodhall Spa!

It was a pleasure to officially open the Play Park at Jubilee Park in Woodhall Spa last weekend.

The play area has received a revamp thanks to a generous grant from WREN and support from a range of local businesses and donors.

I had a fantastic time at the Lincolnshire Show, celebrating the best of our local area. It was a pleasure to see all that makes life in the Lincolnshire countryside so special, from our traditional food to our heritage crafts.

There have been two terrible events in London during the last week. The first was the horrific fire at Grenfell Tower and last night a hateful terror attack was committed near a north London mosque.

Yet again we face the awful aftermath of a terrorist attack. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this latest attack, as well as the emergency services who were so brave in protecting and looking after people last night.
