Victoria launches search for cutest pet in constituency

To celebrate the Government's new, tougher stance on those found guilty of acts of animal cruelty, Victoria Atkins, Member of Parliament for Louth & Horncastle, is launching a contest to find the cutest pet in the constituency.

Horncastle residents took time out of their Saturday morning shopping run to speak to Victoria Atkins, the town's Member of Parliament and local Councillor Bill Aron, at her pop-up surgery in Tesco.

The Lincolnshire Young Farmers were out in force for the Revesby Rally and Victoria Atkins, MP for Louth & Horncastle, joined the fun.

Tackling June flooding

We experienced unusually high levels of rainfall in Louth & Horncastle through late May and into June. Flood warnings were in place for a number of weeks and certain areas in Horncastle and out towards the coast did experience flooding.
