Championing our Local Economy

It is great news that many local organisations in the constituency of Louth & Horncastle have received Government investment through the second round of the Culture Recovery Fund!

I am delighted that East Lindsey is set to receive £226,238 of Government funding as part of the new Welcome Back Fund. This investment will help our market towns reopen, support our coastal communities and safely welcome shoppers and holiday makers in the coming months.

I am delighted that the Chancellor has announced Mablethorpe and our coast will receive landmark funding through the Towns Fund.

It is fantastic news that over 700 people attended the Greater Lincolnshire Online Jobs and Careers fair today!

I am delighted to announce that I will be hosting the Greater Lincolnshire LEP Online Jobs & Careers Fair 10am-1pm on 25th January!

Following the recent announcement that Lincolnshire has been placed in Tier 3, I have contacted the Chancellor of the Exchequer, The Rt Hon Rishi Sunak MP, on behalf of owners of pubs, restaurants and cafés in the Louth & Horncastle constituency to ask for further support for the hospitality

This year, I will be counting down to Christmas by shining a spotlight on one of our many great local businesses for each day of advent and creating a catalogue on my website to help with ideas of where to visit.

One of Louth & Horncastle’s most well-known heritage sites has secured investment thanks to a major Government scheme.  

During my visit to Alford, it was great to speak to local business owners and to see the fantastic produce and services that they offer.

Serving customers since 1302, Spilsby is a historic market town with a vibrant high street full of shops. It was great to visit and speak to business owners and residents about reopening from lockdown.
